About Goran

Mr Goran Ahmed is a consultant oncoplastic and cosmetic breast surgeon with his NHS practice based at the Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. His private practice is spread across Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, and London. He is on the GMC Specialist Register and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Goran completed General Surgery training in Iraq in 2017.He completed a competitive UK oncoplastic fellowship and has been a consultant since 2021. At the same time of his fellowship, he completed a Masters degree in oncoplastic breast surgery from the University of East Anglia. He is currently working on Cosmetic Surgery Board certification. He has completed cosmetic surgery mentorships in London and Manchester.

In addition to breast surgery, he offers consultations on common surgical procedures such as skin excision for benign and cancerous skin lesions, hernia surgery and removal of lumps and bumps.

Goran has published several papers and has taken role of Principal Investigator for Frimley Park in International and National breast cancer studies. He is a keen educator and is the Royal College of Surgeons Clinical Tutor for Frimley Park Hospitals.

Outside work, he enjoys time with his wife and two young children. He particularly enjoys spending time outdoors doing hiking, swimming, and cycling.
